What this service is, and what it is not.
These terms govern the Type Labs services offered by Hiroe Murai ("we") at typelabsofficial.com — the free instruments and the paid readings. Using the service means accepting these terms.
Type Labs provides readings and calculations drawn from four frameworks: numerology, the Chinese zodiac, Western astrology, and Jungian cognitive function.
It is not medical, psychological, legal, tax, or investment advice. It does not replace diagnosis or treatment, and it does not guarantee any future outcome. For decisions about health, law, or money, consult a qualified professional.
Where a figure is an approximation rather than a computation, we say so on the page that prints it. That disclosure is part of the product.
The instruments are free and require no account. What you type is processed in your own browser and is not sent to or stored on our servers — with one exception: resolving a birth location in the natal chart sends the place name to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. See the privacy policy.
The instruments are provided as they are. Our responsibility for their output is limited to the confidence levels stated on each page.
A contract is formed when your purchase completes. Writing a reading requires your name, date of birth and related details; we cannot begin without them.
Prices are those shown at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order by card through Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.
Counting from the day your details are complete: Snapshot within 3 business days, Standard within 7, Premium within 12. Delivery is a PDF by email.
Each reading is written individually, so once work has begun it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Tell us before we start and you get a full refund.
If something is wrong with what we delivered, tell us within 14 days. We will correct and re-deliver it, or refund it in full.
The readings, the instruments, and the writing and artwork on this site are ours.
Your reading is yours to use privately, and you are welcome to share an excerpt or an instrument's output — a result card, say — on social media. Redistributing or reselling a reading in full, or reproducing the service itself, is not permitted.
Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the service. Where we are liable, our liability is capped at what you actually paid for the service in question. Nothing here limits rights you hold under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute will be heard, at first instance, by the court with jurisdiction over your address.
We may revise these terms. A revision applies from the moment it is posted here. Contracts already formed remain under the terms in force when they were formed.
